Is China Becoming a Triad-Run Country?

Is China becoming a country run by mafia?

A discussion forum on this topic was held recently in

East Asian Institute of Columbia University.

Participants endorsed this view. Scholars from China

also believe the CCP is the maker of a mafia state.

If the CCP does not change its "robbery" approach,

it will soon meet vengeance from people.

According to Radio Free Asia, China correspondent

John Garnaut of Australia』s Sidney Morning Herald

proved “mafia” is the right word to describe China,

with many of his own interview experiences.

Garnaut found that in the past 20 years, efforts of

Chinese farmers fighting and appealing for their

lands were often suppressed. They were stopped and

taken back on their way to appeal. In some cases,

officials even hired thugs to kill farmers.

Officials who committed crimes turned richer,

while farmers were detained and jailed.

About Bo Xilai』s campaign of “Sing Red Songs and

Crackdown Mafia Gangs,” Garnaut thinks Bo only

attacked the 2nd tier mafia leaders,

while the top ones were not touched. He said,

what Bo did is to tell the world that the CCP is

the mafia running the state.

Chairman of China Human Rights Watch

Mr. Qin Yongmin agrees with the foregoing view.

Qin Yongmin: "In China people often encounter

threats used by mafia.

There are many incidents like that.

Facing authorities』 mafia-like suppression,

people』s fighting back would be inevitable.”

Retired Shandong University professor Sun Wenguang,

whose home was just raided and himself summoned,

said, he witnessed many cases of forced demolitions,

land expropriation, and forced dismissal from job.

What the authorities do is no different from robbery.

Sun Wenguan: “The despotic society is full of darkness.

This is my view based on my own experiences.

I feel Chinese society is currently in a lawless state.

The National Security Bureau and other authorities

violate and abuse human rights at will.

What is this different from the mafia?”

Currently Sun Wenguang totally lost personal freedom.

Two public security policemen and one vehicle

monitor him in front of his home day and night.

His 3 cell phones were all destroyed.

Qing Yongmin said, if the CCP continues like that,

it will eventually meet the revenge from the people.

Qin Yongmin: "If the authorities continue with

the current trend, that is, the world's 2nd largest

country』s government deal with people using mafia』s

means, it will eventually lead to social upheaval ,

bloodshed, and people』s settlement with the CCP.”

The CCP mouthpiece People's Daily and CCTV often

report on Western countries, especially on

drug dealing, shootings, and robbery in the U.S.

However, the CCP officials all send their children and

mistresses to the Western countries.

Scholar Wu Xuecan analyzed, Chinese officials

actually have the true information. They know the U.S.,

U.K, Canada, Australia and other Western countries

are places of freedom, democracy, security

and happiness. In China, it is common to see

policemen beat and push people to the ground and

step on their heads in public.
