竊聽風暴首傳死訊 英首相回國澄清

【新唐人2011年7月19日訊】7月18號（星期一），新聞集團的竊聽醜聞案件，變得更加撲朔迷離。案件舉報人之一，《世界新聞報》前記者肖恩•霍爾（Sean Hoare），當天被發現死在家裏，不過警方不認為死亡可疑。

霍爾曾經吸毒、酗酒。在這次竊聽醜聞中，包括《紐約時報》等媒體都曾援引他的言論，報導電話竊聽在《世界新聞報》裡非常普遍，而且得到時任編輯的庫爾森（Andy Coulson）的鼓勵。

受前幕僚庫爾森的影響，英國首相卡梅倫縮短了非洲訪問行程，19號（星期二）趕回英國，捍衛自己的清白。

Former News of the World reporter Sean Hoare, one of the sources for early newspaper stories on the scandal that has battered Rupert Murdoch's media empire was found dead at his home on Monday (July 18), British Media reported. Police did not believe the death was suspicious.

David Cameron has cut short a trip to Africa and will fly home on Tuesday (July 19) to defend himself from the scandal, forced British police chiefs to resign and raised doubts about the prime minister's judgment.
